Always at the Gym: How to keep up your fashion game while staying fit

February 17, 2021 by admin Leave a Comment

Feeling good and looking good aren’t mutually exclusive. While you’re working out, it’s always important to feel comfortable in what you’re wearing, especially at the gym. That little boost in self-confidence can make all the difference when you’re pushing yourself to the limit. Here are a few of our favourite activewear outfits to keep you looking and feeling supreme.

Keep it simple

When working out, a simple rule when it comes to fashion is ‘less is more’. You don’t want anything getting in your way when it comes to those crunch moments. We’d suggest wearing something you could happily wear before and after your workout, keeping your focus sharp. Why not go for an all-in-one-colour combo to keep things simple but still fashionable?

Dress for the weather

If you’re exercising outside, it’s important to keep the weather in mind. As the seasons start to change, you’ll want to adapt your activewear to be more suitable. We’d recommend investing in some long sleeved options as well as comfy leggings to keep you warm no matter the temperature.

Big, bold colours

Sometimes, standing out from the crowd is just what you need to keep you motivated while working out. Choosing big, bold colours when shopping for activewear always pays off when you get down to the gym. Take it to the next level with some frill detail and lattice leggings to enhance your style.

Oversized pieces

Let’s be honest – most activewear is purposefully skin tight and revealing. That does not mean you should feel forced to wear an outfit that you’re not comfortable with. There are plenty of styles of tops and bottoms that are great for exercising in without being skin tight. Remember – being confident and comfortable is the number one priority.

The colour orange

According to a recent study by a former British athlete, orange is the one colour that can generate enthusiasm and motivation. Whether that’s true or not, it’s worth a try! When you’re next on the hunt for some new activewear, keep an eye out for the bold but beautiful orange.

If you’re looking for some gorgeous, original activewear, there’s no better place to go than Chi Chi Clothing. Whether you’re searching for some vibrant colours or need something to fit your unique taste, Chi Chi’s varied and always evolving collection has got you covered for any season.

Hi Friends!
I'm Fern and I have a love for travel, beauty, health and flowers! I went to school for nutrition, but wasn't really interested in being a nutritionist. So, I started to bartend and have since I graduated school a year ago.
I love talking to people, traveling and writing on my blog... and bartending allows me to do the things I love.

I can take off for a month to travel abroad and there will never be any shortage of bartending/serving jobs when I get home. I also love that I can work abroad bartending anywhere I want! So, I hope you enjoy my blog and if you have any questions, feel free to email me! :)
